In Amla Lok Sabha constituency, Cabinet Minister Dharampal Singh voted with his family at booth number 119, Junior High School Guldiya Uprala. He appealed to the people to vote.

Only 15 percent votes were cast till 10:30 am in Municipal Girls Inter College of Badaun city. Polling agent Mohammad Firoz Ansari present here says that the speed will increase after 2:00 pm. Right now it seems that people are less interested. Polling agent Mohammad Afsar Qureshi says that women are currently engaged in household work, hence the pace of voting is low. There are chances of increasing the speed in the afternoon.

Basantpur village in Sahaswan assembly constituency of Badaun parliamentary constituency is such where not a single vote was cast till 10:00 am. The villagers said that if there is no road, there is no vote. People are on the road. Waiting for the officials.

Till 9 am in Bareilly Lok Sabha constituency, 11.59 percent votes were cast. Whereas in Amla, 11.42 percent voting has taken place so far. The pace of voting was slow in the first two hours.

12.89 percent voting till 9 o’clock in Badaun
Only 12.89 percent voting took place till 9:00 am in Badaun Lok Sabha constituency. Many efforts were made to increase voting but their effect is not visible yet. There is silence especially on the roads of urban areas. People are in their homes. One or two people are reaching the polling stations. Let us tell you that voting started in the district at seven in the morning. In some villages, EVMs failed and villagers boycotted voting for their demands.

Boycott of voting in many villages of Badaun
Voting started at 7:00 am on Tuesday in Badaun Lok Sabha constituency, but in Sakatpur village of Bisauli area, villagers protested and boycotted the voting due to electricity problem. Their demand is that the DM should reach the village and talk to the people and assure them that they will vote only when they get adequate electricity. In Dhoranpur of Asafpur block, people boycotted voting due to non-development of the village. People did not exercise their franchise till 9:00 pm. Due to non-construction of road in Sukatiya village of Bilsi, the villagers boycotted the voting.

Only two votes were cast till 9.30 am in Jarpa Mohanpur village of Bareilly. In which one vote was cast by village head Rajendra Prasad Verma and the second vote was cast by BJP leader Tarachand. On the other hand, in Gokilpur village of CBganj, the villagers boycotted the voting demanding a road.

Bareilly SP candidate Praveen Singh Airan and his wife Supriya Airan voted at the polling booth in Tehsil Sadar. He said that voting is taking place at a slow pace in many places. The SP candidate said that the arrangements at the administrative level are correct, but some special people are conducting the voting at a slow pace.
